Compartir
From February 14th to 16th, 2026 , Black Jebena will participate in Coffee Fest Madrid , the largest professional event for specialty coffee in Spain, held at IFEMA Madrid .
Our presence at Coffee Fest represents an important milestone for our Seville-based micro-roaster, who is celebrating his first anniversary by participating in one of the most important events in the European coffee sector.
What is Coffee Fest Madrid?
Coffee Fest Madrid is the annual meeting point for:
- Coffee roasters
- Professional Baristas
- Distributors
- Cafeterias
- Importers
- Specialty coffee lovers
For three days, IFEMA becomes the epicenter of coffee in Spain, where trends, roasting techniques, new origins and professional competitions are presented.
In this context, Black Jebena represents a unique proposition: exclusive specialization in Ethiopian coffee.
A project born in Ethiopia
The story of Black Jebena begins in Addis Ababa , the capital of Ethiopia, where Gonzalo, a filmmaker from Seville, met Abezash, an Ethiopian artist.
After more than a decade living in Ethiopia, they decided to bring their experience and knowledge of the origin to Seville, founding in 2025 an artisanal micro-roastery focused solely on Ethiopian coffees.
The name Black Jebena refers to the traditional Ethiopian coffee pot, a symbol of community and gathering.
Philosophy: Ethiopia only, micro-batches and hand selection
Black Jebena operates under a clear philosophy:
- Direct import from Ethiopia
- Manual selection of the grain before roasting
- Micro-batches roasted in Seville
- Medium profile that enhances aromas and texture
- Personalized attention and Ethiopian hospitality
The regions worked include Sidama, Guji, West Arsi or Yirgacheffe , historically considered the cradle of coffee.
The goal is to highlight the identity of each batch while respecting its process: natural, washed, or honey.

What we will present at Coffee Fest Madrid 2026
In Hall 14, Vibes & Coffee area, stand T13 , Black Jebena will present:
- Ethiopian coffees Grade 1
- Seasonal lots
- Natural, washed and honey processes
- Live tastings
- Conversations about origin, culture and roasting
Participation in Coffee Fest Madrid also represents recognition of the work done in the first year of the project, supported by a five-star rating on Google and a growing community both in Seville and nationally.
Pre-book online for collection at the event
